June 2022 Community Newsletter
4th of July
Join us for the Homestead Community 4th of July Bike Parade again!!! This will be our best year yet, as we have Holland Bites coffee truck, and La Crepe Boise coming from 9:30-11:30 am. Come early or socialize after with some great treats. Decorate your bike, scooter, or wagon and meet at the Gazebo on W. Old World St. The parade starts at 10am. We hope to see you there.
Please remember to use caution when lighting fireworks, keeping them away from neighboring homes and roofs. We also ask that neighbors be courteous to each other and surrounding pets who may not enjoy the holiday as much. If you choose to use legal fireworks, here are some great tips from the National Safety Council.
Community Event
Mark your calendar for August 12th, for music in the common area, food trucks, and fun.
Pet Etiquette
All pets should be leashed when not on your own property and cleaned up after. Be sure to take your waste bags with you and use your own garbage can to dispose of them. Please help us keep our community safe and clean for everyone!
Recreational Vehicles
It’s the time of year when people are getting out and enjoying the outdoors or traveling, and RVs, campers, boats, etc. are starting to appear. We want to remind you that we understand there’s a need to bring these home for loading and unloading, however, please respect the rules by making sure you remove them from view with the 24-hour time limit. We greatly appreciate your help in maintaining our community!
Pool Reminders
Please be kind to each other when using the pool. Do not squirt or splash others that are not in your group, and remember to share the space with everyone. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. Please do not use oversized inflatables. We appreciate everyone making sure they are aware of the rules, so we can all enjoy a wonderful swimming season.
